Individual Investors

“Although it’s easy to forget sometimes, a share is not a lottery ticket… it’s part-ownership of a business.” – Peter Lynch

We manage investments for individual investors in two types of accounts:

  1. Regular accounts
  2. IRA, 401K, Roth accounts (tax deferred or tax advantaged accounts)

The process is similar for both types of accounts. If the client has an existing brokerage account (either regular or IRA), they give authority to the manager (us) to trade the account. If they do not have an account, we can help them open a brokerage account with a national broker, and roll over their contributions into the account.

We then determine their investment goals and design a custom portfolio. The portfolios are monitored routinely and positions are bought and sold as opportunities arise. If the investor’s needs change, the composition of the portfolio can be changed accordingly.

All funds are held in the custody of the client’s chosen broker such as Fidelity, Interactive Brokers and others. Clients receive monthly statements directly from the brokerage. Veda Funds does not have access to any investor capital. We simply manage the assets in the account. Client have online access to their portfolios and can view their accounts at any time.
